Secret American Weapons
There are many inventions being kept secret by the United States. One of the reasons is they would make powerful weapons. When inventors apply for patens, they not only do not get them sometimes, but the government takes the invention. Sometimes what looks like the simplest of inventions turns out to have a dark side. We have a habit of hiding our advanced weapons until they are needed and I can understand why. The stealth Nighthawk F-117, was revealed to the public in general when it appeared in the war against Iraq. I think the Switchblade drone which was given to the Ukraine was revealed because we might have left many of them in Afghanistan when we left billions of dollars’ worth of weapons there. The Switchblade is a light drone which can be carried in a tube and is capable of destroying enemy armored vehicles, tanks and soldiers who are dug in. It can cruise for fifteen minutes until it sees a target and then dive down on it. It carries a small devastating explosive.
One weapon which has been spoken about off and on is a laser small enough to be carried in a fighter plane. Not only are we rumored to have it, but we are also rumored to be making it more powerful all the time. It was even announced once, years ago, one of the weapons building companies had built a small enough laser to be carried in a fighter and then no more was heard for years. One of the advantages of having a weapon of this type is it does away with the problem of running out of ammo. I don’t know much about it, but if it is lighter than a load of bullets and bombs, it could also leave room on a plane for other devastating weapons.
When our diplomats were attacked by some sonic wave in the Cuban embassy, we said we didn’t know what caused the attack. DARPA , the weapons think tank of the military went to work on the problem. I bet we have the same type of weapon and maybe even better. One thing I like about DARPA is the fact they are very innovative. They are probably the best advanced weapons unit in the world. They have developed a weapon which is driven by magnetism which will send a glob of molten metal at a target. The weapon is called MAHEM and rightfully so. MAHEM stands for Magneto Hydrodynamic Explosive Munition. Can you imagine what a weapon like this could do to an armored vehicle or even to a group of soldiers?
Many wonder why we are still flying planes from the 1950s. I am talking about B-52 bombers. There are pilots flying them who had grandfathers who flew them. They have been modernized of course. The reason is they are still useful for what they do even though we now have much more modern bombers. The idea for using the B-52 now is as a platform for missiles and drones. It can carry up to 70,000 pounds of weapons and maybe more when they are all equipped with new more powerful weapons. The idea is to fill the planes with diversified weapons, most of the type where the plane can stand off far from the target. It is said the plane will fly for another 20 to 30 years making it about 100 years old when it is retired if then. Can you imagine driving a 100 year old car?
We still do not know for sure what the HAARP station in Alaska does. We have been told repeatedly it was built to make communications easier, but that doesn’t seem to be the reason. We believe it can put out a wave to pierce the ionosphere. This wave has been accused of being able to cause earthquakes among other things. Do we have a weather weapon? Is it HAARP? There is just no way of knowing unless we catch it in the act. It has been known for a long time one of the greatest weapons would be a weather weapon and both the United States and the Russians have been accused of having one. It may or may not be HAARP in the case of the Americans.
One of the weapons we have been rumored to have been working on for a long time is a PHASR rifle. It is a rifle sized weapon which can fire a directed energy pulse. It is said they are non-lethal and can temporarily blind an enemy. Because it is non-lethal it is legal to use under the United Nations 1995 protocol on blinding laser weapons.
There is a weapon we don’t seem to hear about anymore, it was used in Iraq with devastating results. It was mounted on a tank and shot out something which looked like a lightning bolt. When it hit a human body, it instantly killed the person and shrunk their body. It was used on a bus once and the bus was destroyed and also shrunk. Have we learned how to not only harness lightning but make it even more powerful?
Lasers are now starting to be developed to replace surface to air missiles. A surface to air missile is fired and then needs to be replaced that is why so many of them are in a battery. With a laser which can be fired continuously or almost so, many less units would be needed as they never run out of ammo as I said before. What is interesting to me in a way is the war in Ukraine has not shown the Russian army to have many advanced weapons of this type if any. It seems looking at their equipment some of it is even antiquated.
One of the things being speculated on is the United States may have decided to send out barges into the ocean near China. These barges are said to be fully equipped with missiles, which would make up for some of the numbers the Chinese have over us and also be useful for defending Taiwan.
It looks to me like the United States still has a far superior force when we are talking about advanced weapons even though some other countries have advanced to the point of being very dangerous. We don’t know what we might have and I am sure there are some real surprises waiting for any country which would try and attack us. It certainly wouldn’t be pleasant for them no matter who the president is.
