Secret Weapons Programs It has been suspected the American arsenal of weapons is a lot more powerful than we know. America has been known for keeping weapons’ development secret when they are working on something out of the norm. The first truly stealth fighter, the Nighthawk surprised a lot of people when it appeared over Iraq. It certainly surprised the Iraqis who had no defense against it. This certainly was not the only time we developed a secret weapon. The king of them all was the atomic bomb which surprised the heck out of the Japanese and the world. We know there are a lot of weapons experiments going on. Could some of these get out of hand and are there clues which indicate something was being tested. Remember the wildfires in California? There were some unexplainable things which happened during those fires which were seen by witnesses. The first thing were beams of light which came from the sky and these beams were recorded on video. Another strange thing which happened were blocks of houses burned down and yet in some areas the trees around them didn’t burn at all. How can this be? Forest fires just don’t act this way. Could a secret weapons test have gone awry? Why are the X-37B missions so secretive? The X-37B looks like a miniature version of the space shuttle. Boeing took the X-40 and scaled it up by 120% to create the X-37B. It has been sent into orbit for years at a time. It is said to be a robotic vehicle and certainly looks the part. The missions are secret and Boeing has announced it will be building the X-37C a version of the X-37B which will be 165 to 180% bigger than the X-37B. Does this sound familiar? The space shuttle was originally designed to be much smaller but due to the demands of the defense department for a larger vehicle to launch secret satellites it also became much bigger and this led to many of its problems. It seems once we hear about very advanced projects which are either of a military type or have military applications it is because they have become known by other governments. NASA is building a supersonic plane without windows; it is the X-59 which will use cameras and screens to let a pilot view the area ahead and around him. The control system and dash seems to be much simpler than on other planes of this type. Directed Energy Weapons are not only being worked on but their power is being increased all the time. The one type we are developing which seems to be the most popular with the armed forces is a laser weapon. You can expect to see them installed soon on our newest fighters and perhaps on other planes. We have made a lot of progress in this area. Originally, we needed a very large plane to house the laser, but we have managed to shrink them down to a size which can be placed in a fighter plane and they are more powerful than ever. Other directed energy weapons are being developed which also shoot beams of energy but are not lasers. Sound weapons are being developed which operate in frequencies above those humans are capable of hearing. It seems this was used on our diplomats in Cuba. Some of the weapons being developed sound like something out of a science fiction novel. One weapon the U.S. has been working on in one way or another is a flying aircraft carrier. In the 1920 planes were carried on airships. We had two airships the Akron and Macon which could launch and recover Sparrowhawk fighter planes in flight. Today we are experimenting with planes which will carry many drones and will be able to control many of them in flight. This might even be able to overwhelm an aircraft missile defense. It is claimed one of the most secretive defense projects is the race to build a hypersonic-missile. We are trying to beat out China and Russia in this area and they are said to be years ahead of us, but are they really? The program is so secret there is no way of knowing who really is ahead. The missiles will not only be much faster, but will have the capability to change course while in flight. The development of rail guns is going full speed ahead. A railgun fires a solid metal projectile using magnetism. The problem is said to be the railgun wears out the rail. One advantage is a ship would not need to carry explosive munitions aboard making a ship less likely to explode if hit by a bomb or missile. It is also said the railgun is less expensive to fire and the impact of the projectile is much more devastating. The U.S. Navy is quietly reducing the crews needed to drive their ships. Crew size has shrunk considerably over the years. The crew size of the Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier is 2600 for a 100000 ton ship, but this is not the entire complement on the ship. In World War II an Essex Class carrier had a crew of 2386 for a 27500 ton ship. If a 100000 ton carrier existed in World War II it would have needed at least a crew of 5000 men. Some of the most secret of the secret are biological weapons. These are also among the most feared of all weapons. Russia has accused the U.S. of running a biological weapons facility in Georgia. The U.S. has suspected the Russians are building biological weapons. It seems to be a Mexican standoff. For years it has been said we have secret space planes and as a matter of fact a Russian general stated years ago that all was lost because he supposedly found out we have space planes. This is more than likely true. Rumors about the Aurora space plane have been around for years and it has even been said we have much newer models of the plane flying. Along with these rumors the United States has released photos of a new plane which is said to be able to fly faster than five times the speed of sound and many suspect it is much faster than that. One article I read is calling the plane the fighter plane of the future. Secret weapons are just that, secret. This makes it very hard to speculate on what is going on in their development. Most of what we hear are rumors and sometimes they are very outlandish.
