UFOs Sightings, Top Officials And Scientists

It’s one of my pet peeves. I am talking about inserting the topic of UFOs into the general topic of the Paranormal. I have noticed even some unlikely people doing this, I am talking about UFO investigators. They should know better since this ploy is used to water down all the UFO sightings being reported and to keep up the ridicule factor. One of the sad things is since the internet came into being there are a lot of fraudulent UFO events listed which take away from the fact there are also a lot of people who had true experiences. The idea is to put up stuff which looks so crazy no one will take real sightings seriously. It is true there are some which fall on the line between truth and fiction, because they have some true elements thrown in to confuse people, but usually they are just too absurd. This is how I felt about a recent video which appeared, which is said to show a hybrid dog/human. It has just gotten too easy to alter videos for us to take any on face value.

Before a video is accepted as true we have to find the story behind it and find out who saw the event originally. If we find a crowd of people saw the event, it is much easier to believe the video, especially if we can find out who in that crowd took the video. When we are talking about alien abductions things become much harder to prove. There is usually no witnesses and the sum total of proof is a person with marks on their body who usually don’t remember anything until they are put under hypnosis. Even though this is the case, every once in a while proof shows up. Let me give you an example. Betty and Barney Hill were one of the first couples to claim to have been abducted. They said they were in their car when a huge spaceship landed in front of their car after it was stopped. Under hypnosis they remembered being taken and examined, but Betty remembered more, she remembered a map the alien captain showed her and told her this is where he was from. The map was a group of stars and years later an amateur astronomer found this arrangement of stars and the map became known as the Fish map after the astronomer.

I have a question. Why have so many distinguished people who were in a position to know about UFOs come out and affirmed they exist and are alien? Why would they risk their reputations to do this unless they felt it was important for us to know what is really going on? We have people from governments all over the world who have admitted this along with scientists, contractors, and people involved with space programs and many others. It is amazing to me even with all this firepower, the powers that be are able to block the news coverage so most of us never know what they are saying or even who they are. One has to remember even several presidents witnessed UFOs and President Reagan even had his pilot try and chase one, but to no avail. In the early 1950s a fleet of UFOs made the headlines when it flew over the White House several times. I try and keep these memories alive, because those people who try and hide the facts would like nothing better than for us to forget these things.

Remember Mikhail Gorbachev, he was the last head of the Soviet Union? He said the UFO phenomenon must be treated seriously. He probably knew a lot about UFOs, because the entire military forces of the USSR had been put on alert and for years were told to report anything strange in the skies, on land and in the water. Stephen Hawking the famous scientist stated he believed it could be possible UFOs exist and aliens were piloting them and the government was hiding the fact. While this is not a ringing endorsement, it is about as far as anyone would go if they never had seen a UFO themselves. Coming from a man of this stature shows he is leaning in the direction of believing in UFOs. The great German rocket scientist Dr. Herman Oberth, who we brought to the U.S. after World War II, said he had no doubt UFOs were real and from another solar system. One of my favorite scientists who believed in UFOs was Dr. J. Allen Hynek. He was an astronomer and the government attached him to Project Blue Book which was basically a unit of a few Air Force personnel who were charged with disproving UFO sightings. He was a devout skeptic, but after a while he realized all the people who said they saw UFOs were not crazy or in error and he began to believe in UFOs himself.

Some of the people who believe or believed in UFOs will really surprise you. Take General Douglas MacArthur. Here was a battle hardened general who had no time for fantasy and yet in 1955 he stated that the next war was going to be an interplanetary one. What did he know that most of us didn’t? Who could have been harder to convince than the head of the FBI and yet J. Edgar Hoover stated we must insist upon full access to disks recovered. He claimed the army had grabbed a disk in 1942 which appeared over Los Angeles and wouldn’t give access to the FBI. For those of you old enough to remember, Walter Cronkite was the most famous news reporter for several decades. He was invited to a Pacific Island in the 1950s to witness the firing of a new missile. As he watched a UFO came along and hovered over it. It then fired a bluish beam at the missile, but also hit a guard and his dog. The guard and dog were frozen in place. The army had made up a story saying they owned this technology and wanted to see how people would react to it. The reporters were told to never mention this. This had to make a believer out of Cronkite.

There are a slew of stars who claim to have had UFO experiences, but let’s skip them. Gordon Cooper the famous astronaut wrote a letter to the United Nations in 1978 asking them to investigate UFOs. He had seen several UFOs when flying a jet fighter over Germany. Richard Nixon declared at a press conference he couldn’t discuss the topic of UFOs, because he was still being briefed on them. He later took one of his best friends Jackie Gleason the comedian to see alien bodies and Gleason’s former wife Beverly McKittrick said Gleason had described the alien bodies to her as being about two feet tall with bald heads and very large eyes. An astronomer Royal named Lord Rees said aliens could well exist and he warned us we might not be able to understand them. Monsignor Corrado Balducci of the Vatican said extraterrestrial contact is a real phenomenon. He said the Vatican is receiving a lot of information about alien and human contact.

Can all of these people and the tens of thousands more be frauds? I don’t think so, do you?
