UFO Photos And Videos

There are tens of thousands of UFO photos and UFO videos online. This is one of the problems with having advanced technology, it makes it much easier to fake these photos. It is still possible to pick out the hoaxes many times, but it often takes the skill of a photographic expert to do this and even they can be fooled. Sometimes the only way to find out a photo or video has been altered is by looking for clues in the background. I remember one video which looked genuine, but was a fraud. It showed a huge UFO cruising slowly over an apartment building in Mexico City. The caption claimed thousands of people saw it. The photo was examined by Dr. Bruce Maccabee and even though the UFO looked genuine at first glance, he later noticed something strange in the video. The roof of the apartment the UFO was flying over had tiny flags on top which faced in the direction of the wind, but one was facing the wrong way. It had been pasted into a frame, but didn’t belong. To discover this Dr. Maccabee had to go through the video frame by frame which took time. He explained the process to me in an interview.

It was much harder to create hoaxed photos years ago and there are photos which have stood the test of time. Two of them have been called the best proof UFOs exist. They were taken by Paul Trent on his farm near McMinnville, Oregon on May 11, 1950 and have been scrutinized over the years by probably hundreds of experts and nobody has been able to definitely prove they are not what they look like. They even appeared on the Cover of Time magazine. The Scientific Study of Unidentified Flying Objects which functioned between 1966 and 1968 stated the photos were consistent disk-shaped metallic ships. They couldn’t leave it that way however and added they didn’t rule out the possibility of an object on a string, which has been disproved many times since then. The Trents said Paul Trent’s wife Evelyn had just fed the rabbits and was walking back to the house. She looked up and saw a slow moving metallic disk-shaped object heading in her direction. She called her husband who came out and saw the object. Paul ran inside the house and got his camera and took photos of the object. Paul’s father also said he saw the object.

Billy Eduard Albert Meier is a Swiss citizen and famous for his UFO photos. He also claimed he was in contact with extraterrestrials which made many people think he was either a fraud or insane. He calls the aliens the Plejaren and said they look human and come from a planet called Erra which is located in a dimension which is shifted from our own by a fraction of a second and near the Pleiades which is about 80 light years from here. Normally this would be enough information to make someone want to stop reading this article, but I ask you to bear with me since there is so much more to this story. The most important part of this story are the photographs and eyewitness sightings. His collection of photographs is astounding. It is impossible to explain some of them which show celestial objects from a non-earth viewpoint and are not doctored. Others show the 1975 docking of the Apollo-Soyuz which is also hard to explain. There are prehistoric photos and photos of the future showing a devastated planet, but the most important for this article are the photos of the UFOs. He also has films and sound recordings. There are those who claim this is all a hoax, but experts who believe everything is real.

In 1978 a complete analysis was performed on the photos and files by a physicist and he proclaimed there was no evidence of double exposure, photo paste-up, or a model at short range suspended on a string. Nothing was found to indicate a hoax. One has to remember when these photos were taken and the lack of computer photo processing programs. A researcher using modern programs said he concluded the object of the UFO in one of the photographs had to be greater than at least 3 meters. Meier said he was given metal samples by an extraterrestrial and he sent them to be examined to a chemist working at IBM and he was told the metals were rare and did not conform to the spectra of those on earth, since some of the bands were missing. The chemist stated under the microscope at 2500 X the metal looked both like metal and crystal. Metallurgists were said to just shake their heads when shown the metals and the results of the tests.

Meier was with a man name Stevens and walking on his property on May 10, 1980 when a shot rang out missing Meier by only inches. The bullet hit a concrete wall and was able to be recovered. Meier stated that was not the first attempt to kill him, but the third. He said a shot had been fired through his office window just missing him and on another occasion he was shot in the chest. One of the things I remember about Meier is the story of how he told a reporter he could summon UFOs and told the skeptical reporter to come back at a certain time and he would do it and to the chagrin of the reporter UFOs did appear.

UFO photos are certainly nothing new, as a matter of fact the first one was taken over 145 years ago when a cylindrical UFO was photographed over Mt. Washington, New Hampshire. You can see it at http://www.disclose.tv/forum/1886-year-of-the-first-ufo-photo-t22714.html. Copy and paste this address into you web browser’s address bar. Sorry, About Facts doesn’t use like links. We also know UFO sightings have been going on for at least 25,000 years and probably longer since we have seen cave drawings this old depicting saucer shaped objects.

One of the problems we face is one of disinformation. The disinformation machine is geared up to attack anything which has a chance of convincing us UFOs are real. It does this by the posting of obviously faked UFOs, constant criticism of all UFO photos and by making up reports by supposed experts debunking UFO material. Sure much of the UFO material out there is a fraud and intelligent people know it, but there is some which cannot be explained and it is this material which these people are trying to cast doubt on and ridicule.
