Giving Aliens Too Much Credit

It is hard to understand, at least hard for me to understand, why every chance we get many of us play the extraterrestrial card. Take the case of the object which scientists are claiming came from another galaxy. It is oddly shaped for an object speeding through space. I say speeding, because the last report I read stated it was traveling in excess of 198,000 miles per hour. It has an elongated shape resembling a cylinder and the shape has excited many people including a Russian billionaire who claims in it an alien vehicle. Some have said it was sent here to watch us. First of all, I would like to know how we can be sure it was from another galaxy. Just because something comes here from a certain direction doesn’t mean its course wasn’t altered because of a gravitational pull or because something hit it. Think of this, the people who say this is an alien object sent from another galaxy by intelligent beings to spy on us are not taking into consideration the object would have taken 25,000 years to get here even if it traveled at the speed of light and this object was only traveling at a fraction of that speed. Light travels at 186,282 miles per second. The object was traveling approximately 3400 time slower, give or take. If my math is correct the object would have had to be sent out 633,358,800 years ago. Does anyone seriously believe this could even be possible when sending out a spy device? Would some race in another galaxy plan something like this just to get a probe to our planet? It is said multicellular life was just starting to form on earth around 600,000,000 years ago, so at that time there would not have been much to see, if anyone could see anything on earth from another galaxy which seems impossible.

Lately we have been too caught up with the idea things we don’t understand must be from or caused by aliens. Some have cited what they call evidence and at the top of the pile is what happened on the Coast to Coast AM radio program in 1997. A call came in from a person stating he was a former employee of Area 51 and he was talking about aliens and how we were all in danger and as he was saying this he was sobbing saying he was on the run and knew he was being tracked down. He was giving some information to the show when the entire show’s system went down knocking the show off the air. You have to hear this, here is the address of the site just copy and paste it into your browser’s address area.

While the event at the radio station is strange to say the least, it might not be what we think. The caller said he had a medical discharge from his employment. Perhaps he had a mental problem and even though there was a chance the government was involved in knocking the station off the air, it might have been for another reason. I am only playing the devil’s advocate, I have to admit this call does make me wonder what is really going on. On the other hand, the call took place in 1997 and it seems to me since it is 20 years later aliens would have to be very patient if this is there plan. Think of things this way, they could fly into space and bombard our planet to wipe out most of us and we wouldn’t be able to do anything about it, why even wait if this is what they wanted to do? It makes no sense. One theory some think might be true is there are no aliens at all and the government is making us think they exist to cover up what they are doing. This theory goes even further stating we will be told there is an alien attack, but the aliens will be us and it will be done to make all of us fall for the one world government scheme so we can be more closely controlled.

Astronomer Duncan Lorimer discovered something called fast radio bursts or FRBs in 2007. They were much faster than what was usually received at the radio telescope in Australia where he work. Since then a few more have been found. It has been suggested if a radio telescope could observe the entire sky it would pick up thousands of FRBs every day. Immediately, when some people heard about this they claimed it must be aliens trying to communicate with us. Never mind the slow speed, since radio waves only travel at the speed of light and would take years to reach us from the nearest star system. I can’t help but believe an advanced race of aliens would never use radio waves to communicate with us unless they were in a ship very near to our planet. They would probably have something much faster we know nothing about for this task.

One of the places where it is said is under alien influence is right here on our planet. We all know it as the Bermuda Triangle. There are many stories about time storms, ships and planes disappearing and strange events causing instruments to malfunction. Some have said there are alien underwater bases in the triangle and ufos can be seen coming and going. While it may be true there are quite a few strange events which have happened there, they could certainly have been caused by natural phenomena which we don’t yet fully understand. An example of this is the disappearance of ships. Scientists have claimed there might be gasses coming from the ocean bed which interfere with buoyancy and a ship over these bubbles wouldn’t be able to stay afloat and it might sink. As for the disappearance of planes scientists also say there may be magnetic forces in the area causing instruments to malfunction and thus planes get lost and run out of fuel and crash.

We are finding out more about our universe every day and we may yet find out some of the more amazing things we don’t suspect. An example of this are Lay Lines. The ancients built many of their monuments on what we call Ley Lines. They believed these lines were where earth’s energy was focused. This was done all over the world, indicating they might have known something we don’t. This might lead us to vortexes and such which connect to other areas. It just might turn out a lot of the stuff we are giving aliens credit for is natural.
