What is Happening in Space? I never thought I would hear this, but some scientists are saying life could exist inside a star. Hell would be nothing compared to the conditions inside there. Maybe some advanced race would be so technologically advanced they could somehow build a base inside a star but absent that, I just can’t see how any life could exist. I usually have an open mind about the possibilities of different types of life which could exist, but it seems to me this is just pushing things too far. The scientists have proposed hypothetical particles could come together and form something similar to DNA and RNA. This theory depends on cosmic strings being formed. Life as we know or even as we don’t know it yet, if it was organic, could not survive inside a star. We have just gotten a new theory on why the universe is expanding. They believed it was a mysterious force which was composed of dark energy, but this doesn’t seem to have worked out. An old idea has been resurrected. Over sixty years ago it was proposed dark energy was hiding in objects which were named Ersatz black holes. These objects are the product of a star collapsing. Some scientists are now saying this is entirely possible and these objects are pushing the universe apart. We now have GEODEs which are composed of dark energy, according to the scientists. They are saying these objects look like black holes, but do not behave like them. Could it be some of the black holes we have observed are not black holes at all? It is only a matter of time before plasma propulsion for large rockets in space comes about. Right now, it is being perfected for small satellites and probes. The ESA, European Space Agency, has been putting in a lot of work on making plasma propulsion for small satellites a reality. Not having to carry fuel is a big plus. These systems are low voltage compared to what would be needed on larger probes and rockets. This probably will become reality unless something even better comes about before a plasma engine is perfected for big jobs. A plasma engine could become the fastest mode of transportation reaching speeds as high as 1,000 times faster than a conventional rocket engine. There might even be more breakthroughs by then allowing the plasma engine to be even more powerful. It takes about 274 days to reach Mars by chemical rocket, but if we could get there 1,000 times faster the trip would only take 0.274 days. That seems to work out at about a little under 7 hours. Can you imagine how easy that would make things? The trip would be like flying to Europe and still have almost 4.5 hours to spare. Even if we could reach the furthest planet in our solar system in a day, it still would not allow us to reach anywhere near speeds which make exploration in space practical. It would be okay for getting to some very close star systems but that is about it. As usual the cost of the Artemis mission is increasing because the rocket is being built by one of our old time space companies who treat the project as a meal ticket. Traditionally these companies keep falling behind in the schedule and many times keep asking for more money as the project goes on. Believe me when I tell you they do these in other fields besides space devices. In 2014 NASA awarded two contracts for the same project. It was to build systems to transport astronauts from earth to the space station. Even though both companies were essentially doing the same thing, Boeing received 4.3 billion dollars but SpaceX was only awarded 2.5 billion dollars. It is said the Office of the Inspector General found the discrepancy. Either Boeing was overpaid or SpaceX under paid. On top of that NASA then gave Boeing another 287.2 million dollars to speed up the program. Some scientists are saying it is time for the human exploration of Mars. I can’t help but agree if it hasn’t already happened in secret. To cut down on the time it takes to reach Mars it is being estimated NASA needs faster propulsion. It seems nuclear power is in the forefront of ideas, but the type of nuclear power is being debated. It could be a nuclear reactor using its heat to force something out the rear in traditional rocket style. There has been talk about steam. A reactor could also be used to power an electronic engine of some kind. Electric engine technology is at a stage now where a rocket using one would have less thrust than any other nuclear propulsion type. We do have to explore Mars and we must look into what seems like structures which were in many of the NASA photos. It is time to explore the Red Planet and either see if intelligent or other type of life existed or stills exist or not. If we find similar structures to those on earth and maybe even some statues, we may find we came from Mars and escaped a disaster as some have said. I can’t help but notice as of the date this article was written September 3, 2020, I haven’t heard much about the Space Force. One has to wonder how much of their activities will be classified. I can’t help but believe it will be too much. This is the Space Force’s first year as we know and next year, they will be receiving space-related units from the U.S. Airforce, U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. There doesn’t seem to be a Space Force Academy in the works, at least yet. It is being said the Congress will decide the future of the service. Defense officials are saying there will be a strong push on recruitment for the force. The total force is about 15,000 people, making it the smallest service. NASA scientists are excited over a signal they have discovered. It is coming from deep space and evert that repeats. The signal has been named FRB 121192. The signal lasts for 90 days, then it goes silent for 67 days. Scientists have discovered over 100 of these types of signals. One signal was so powerful scientists believed it could even be coming from another galaxy. Cornell University researchers had previously announced they had a signal which was coming from about one half of a billion light years from Earth. More than likely these signals are coming from natural events happening in space.
