Space, Programs and Projects
How many times have I complained about how the military industrial complex is taking advantage of us by overcharging? Since I began writing for About Facts and later Truth Facts and I must have complained about this at least 50 times in the last 20 years. Now a report has come out referring to the price NASA is paying to Boeing and to SpaceX for a seat on their respective rockets to have people taken to the space station. One would think the price of a seat would be the same for both, that is not too unreasonable is it? We were paying the Russians $86 million a seat to bring our astronauts up to the space station. The report shows that a seat on Boeing’s Starliner will cost $90 million each while using the SpaceX Crew Dragon will only cost $55 million dollars a seat. What would a rational person doing this case? If it was a business person they would use SpaceX, but this is not what NASA is going to do. They have allotted six round trip missions for each company and are going to pay Boeing $4.82 billion while they pay SpaceX $3.14 billion. Not only that, I can’t help but have the feeling Boeing might get even more since aerospace companies love to increase the cost, just look at everything else they build where they always seem to get automatic increases. Elon Musk is not happy because SpaceX is his company and he feels this is not right to be paid less. I can hardly blame him in this case.
A new report has come out from the office of the Inspector General for NASA and according to Spaceflight Insider it claims one of the two participants in the NASA Commercial Crew Program attempted to extort more money from the space agency. Gee I wonder who this is, just kidding. It claims Boeing had told NASA they would need an extra $287 million to give them additional flexibilities. I know that would give me additional flexibilities how about you? This payment was criticized by the Inspector General because it said NASA never gave the other space company, which was SpaceX a chance to provide solutions. The Inspector General also said the money was unnecessary since the Russian company was still available to provide seats. It seems incredible to me we are going to pay more per seat to Boeing then we did to the Russians when the whole idea is to create a less expensive alternative which is reliable. This sort of reminds me of the space shuttle program which was supposed to be cheaper than rocket launchers and instead became the most expensive program in the world.
I certainly am not an expert in this area, but it seems to me with all the new space commercial companies coming on board, we don’t always have to rely on the old guard anymore. We need more contests among these companies. There are now enough of them to almost a sure the fact new innovations will be discovered which will further reduce the cost of sending people into space. It seems to me with all the trouble that Boeing is having with its planes and other space programs which are being delayed, you would think they would try and clean up their act.
We were all astounded to hear the military released videos which seem to show Navy planes following UFOs. There were stories which came out which said the videos were released by accident. While I don’t know if that was true, I do know some veterans are talking about those incidents again and are claiming when they happened strangers landed on the ship and took all their data. Have men in black been stationed on large Navy ships? This is what it seems the vets are saying. There is also been talk that the TicTac like spacecraft which was being chased was really a classified United States vehicle. What we may have been looking at was a spaceship which had the ability to also fly within the Earth’s atmosphere. This would not be as big a surprise as one would think. There has been talk for years about the United States having incredibly advanced spacecraft and if the film was released by mistake, although I don’t see how that could happen, the military would want us to think that the TicTac craft was a UFO and not one of ours. If we have such an advanced spacecraft, we must have an advanced space program and I am sure the government is not ready to have that fact released. Many believe the proof is in a patent which was filed by the Navy which would allow craft to perform incredible maneuvers without hurting the pilot.
I wonder how many people think it is strange that the United States has never launched a space station since the International Space Station was launched into space? Other countries such as China have launched a couple. The answer may be very simple and it could be as simple as saying we have. For a while now there has been a rumor there is a space station in a much higher orbit than the International Space Station and the reason nobody has seen it is that it is covered with material which makes it invisible not only to our sight, but also to radar. We know there have been many advances made in the process of invisibility so this is not as far-fetched as it once would have seemed. If this is true, we might even have more than one other space station in space. If we do have this type of space station perhaps it might be a meeting place for humans and aliens.
We have heard a lot of bad things lately about how being an astronaut and going into space hurts people physically. It has been said your blood flow reverses sometimes stops and some people get blood clots later on and also their muscles atrophy. Now some scientists are saying when you go into space your brain’s age faster. It seems there is nothing good to be said about going into space. One of the things we have to find out is what causes this. Is it radiation, a lack of gravity, both or something entirely different? We can’t have our astronauts going into space knowing they will come back with life threatening injuries. It also certainly hurts the idea we have of colonizing other planets. How do we know if these conditions will exist on planets other than earth? I think it is time we have to concentrate on the cause.
