Humans Have Limited Vision And Perception
There are a lot of things around us we can’t usually see. Some are quite common and people raise questions about why we can’t. Take for example a commercial airline flying high in the sky. Some people ask the question why can’t we see the plane’s shadow on the ground. It sounds like a simple question, but the answer may not be so simple. The shadow of the plane is also traveling at the speed of the plane and is no bigger than the plane. If you are not on the exact correct spot when the shadow will go over on the ground you will never see it. You really need to be up high looking down to get a good chance of viewing a plane’s shadow or just very lucky. The human eye was not created to see much of the light spectrum around us. If you are wondering how much of the light spectrum we can see, you better sit down while I tell you. We can see only 2.3 percent of the electromagnetic spectrum.
When we look at the above figures which stand for what we can see, it does raise some very serious questions. Are there things going on around us which we know nothing about, because they are not visible to us? If there are extraterrestrials can they see things we cannot? If we could see everything in the electromagnetic spectrum it would probably drive us mad. All those lights and flashes are things we are not constructed for. It might be what we can see is enough for life on earth, but it may not be enough for living on other worlds. Think of things this way, it seems we see most everything which can harm us on earth, but there could be life on other planets which give off an entirely different electromagnetic signature, one which we cannot see. This life might be dangerous to us and if we send people to these planets they may become bait for hostile and dangerous life which would be invisible to them.
Strange things happen on the earth from time to time, which cannot be explained. People and objects disappear and are never seen again. Could this be because their electronic spectrum signature has changed to one we can’t detect or could they have been destroyed by something we cannot see? Some people like to talk about something called a vortex. A vortex is supposedly a gateway to somewhere else. No human has ever actually seen one, but there are many stories about their existence. Could they exist and give off radiation in part of the electromagnetic spectrum we cannot see? If they do they might account for at least some of the missing people. There are quite a few stories about people who came back after going into a vortex and they claim they never saw it, but it brought them to a strange land or back in time.
This makes one wonder if we had a machine which we could carry with us which could see everything across the entire electromagnetic spectrum what would we see. We know our atmosphere blocks some of the waves and protects our planet from harmful rays which are part of the spectrum. Many believe the sun actually puts out waves across the entire spectrum. Some are very harmful. No one wants to be hit with high intensity X-rays or Gamma rays. While we might feel this way there could be other life which depends on these waves. Recently we found out there were certain bacteria on earth which actually eat electricity. Unlike us they don’t waste their time eating sugars and things like that and then having to convert them to electricity, they just go for the real thing. This was quite a surprise to scientists and suggests life could exist elsewhere where the main food supply is something we least expect. It may turn out life of this type would have a much more capable view of the electromagnetic spectrum than we do.
Could it be there are other dimensions out there and the reason we can’t see them is they exist in the part of the electromagnetic spectrum we are not capable of seeing? This also raises the question are there things which exist we cannot touch, but which might seem solid to other beings? Sound like a crazy question doesn’t it, but reality might be different for some aliens than it is for us. If a certain alien race existed in a shifted part of time would they be undetectable to us and if they were advanced enough could they detect us? This might turn out to be a very serious question some day, because we are finding out time is not what we thought and may not be as linear as we thought it was.
We look out at the solar system and we see 8 planets and 146 moons so far. Could our view turn out to be defective? Could there be far more in our solar system that we are just not capable of detecting? Could there be entire races of beings living and dying in our solar system and we have no way of knowing this? It could be they are also limited in their view of the electromagnetic spectrum and are unaware of our existence. If we combine this with a time shift there is no way we would ever detect each other until we had some sort of time altering technology.
Here is one of the problems we face in detecting life in other dimensions and it may not only have to do with our limited view of the electromagnetic spectrum. Scientists claim if a person is raised in a certain dimension it would be impossible for him or her to see into the next. They say a two dimensional being could never conceive of a three dimensional world and we as three dimensional beings cannot conceive of a four dimensional world no matter how hard we try. Physicists think there are at least ten dimensions, but human brains do not understand anything above three dimensions. So we see humans are not only limited in their vision, but we are limited in our understanding in certain instances.
Some day we might find there is far more around us than we ever suspected.
