Death, What Is It? One thing we really don’t understand is what happens after death and does the same thing happen to all of us? There have been plenty of people over the centuries who claimed to be able to contact the death, but I personally do not know of any who could really do that. On the other hand, I know of several creditable people who say the dead have contacted them. It is usually a case of being contacted by recently deceased relatives. Some people think there is some sort of tie in with the paranormal and extra dimensions, but there is no way of knowing if any of this is true. It does make one wonder what we will find out about this in the future. While I know I will not be alive by then, I might be around, just in a different way. When some people talk about their experiences of being contacted by a deceased person, some also state they lost their fear of death. I am one of those people. I was contacted once by my beloved deceased wife and again once by my beloved deceased daughter. The first time in happened was almost 5 years ago and I was in a temporary state of shock. I heard my wife’s voice like she was right next to my ear and was too startled to reply at that moment. Then it happened with my daughter who clearly was calling me. This time I replied. There has been nothing since from either one of them. As I have said before, there are quite a few people who have had experiences like this. I am talking about rational, healthy people and you may be surprised to know this, because they usually don’t speak about this kind of thing for many reasons. One reason is they don’t want to be laughed at and ridiculed. Another reason it is a very personal experience and some say a religious one. But what would make anyone think this was somehow tied in to other dimensions or even other beings? There are all different theories out there. At least one states our death could just be the portal to another dimension. This is an interesting idea. I am not saying this theory is correct or not, because how could anyone possibly know the answer? If it was true, could that mean if beings from another dimension were coming here, they could be the deceased ancestors or relatives of ours? Some might say if that was true, why wouldn’t they tell us? There could be a couple of different reasons why not. Maybe they have no memory anymore of who they were in a past life. People who believe in reincarnation and memories of a past life mostly believe this memory is lost after a child reaches a certain age. Could something similar to this happen to these people? Another reason might have something to do with God. Perhaps God has a rule about revealing the true nature of this like he had about eating the apple from the tree of knowledge in the Garden of Eden. One of the things I have noticed over the years, when people are asked what they would ask an advanced extraterrestrial being, if they had a chance is very interesting. I think I have to say I believe the three main questions would be will there be a nuclear war, what do they know about God and religion, and do they have any medicines to extend human life. The part about God and religion has to do with what happens to us when we die. People may not talk about this very much in public, but it is something most of us are very interested in knowing, but that doesn’t mean aliens would ever have the answer to that question. We have found out not everything on earth dies. The immortal Jellyfish is one and gets younger when it reaches a certain age and continues this routine. Of course, this doesn’t protect it from disease or accidental death. Another is the Hydra which replaces all the cells in its body every 20 days which protects it from old age. Who is to say that there aren’t aliens who live forever or even just a heck of a lot longer than we do. This could be a great advantage in advancing technology. Think about this, how many of the geniuses of the past were working on inventions they never finished and which just fell by the wayside? I don’t want to get off topic however. There could even be alien beings who die and come back to life. I was always amazed about the fact little children and dogs seem to be able to see some things we cannot see. I am going to repeat a story, forgive me if you have read this before. We had a relative known to the kids as Uncle Jack. After he died, it must have been about six months to a year we had one of my grandsons over and he was at the age where he barely learned to talk. We found him standing in the corner of the room and staring at a spot above the door. He seemed to be fixated at this area. Someone asked him what he was looking at and he replied he was looking at Uncle Jack. First of all, I think he would have been too young when Uncle Jack died to remember him, but that aside one has to wonder if he was really seeing a spirit none of the rest of us could see. There were also times when the dog would look at the same area and bark until we told it to stop. One has to admit this is truly strange. Are our relatives and friends watching over us, and could that be a comforting thought? I think to most of us it is, but I also realize if someone had a real problem with someone else in life who was a relative or friend, maybe they wouldn’t want them hanging around their home. Could this be where poltergeists come from? Could they be relatives who never got along with us or even ancient ancestors who are holding a grudge against the blood line of former enemies. In ancient times there were plenty of relatives who would kill each other to gain power and position and even brothers who killed each other to gain a crown. Maybe the dead never really go away but are living here with us in some form we can’t see.
