Isn’t it strange, Edward Snowden used a lawyer to defend him and now that lawyer is dead and it is said he committed suicide? On top of that Snowden tweeted a message, a very mysterious one, to his former coworkers which said “it’s time”. Time for what? Your guess is as good as mine and there are a lot of people guessing what this means. Could it be others at the NSA are going to release damaging information? Many of us love a good mystery, but in the case of someone who was in the position Snowden was in, it is rather foreboding. There are some people who were in a position to make an educated guess on some of the things Snowden could have found out and while they will not say, they do indicate there is much going on in the government which if found out could cause a lot of trouble for our elected officials and for our appointed ones also.

There has been talk of secret space treaties. I am not talking about treaties with extraterrestrials or any such thing, but treaties between countries. The talk is they may state that private individuals, that is private companies with their own crews, would not be allowed to go into deep space and means would be taken to stop them. They would be allowed however to go into low earth orbit. I do not know how much of this is true, but I do know if we have secret weapons, space stations and such we don’t want anyone to report them, so we may feel justified in preventing this from happening. This is just the kind of thing which could hold back progress in space flight. It is never good when a government takes over a certain part of industry because it blocks innovation, something business is better at than government. If the government would have taken over aviation where would it be today? It would probably cost so much to fly, almost no one would be able to do it.

Did you read about the new particle which was supposedly discovered at the Large Hadron Collider? It was all over the internet, but now the scientists at this atom smasher are saying they were wrong. It is amazing to me how many people have become interested in particle physics. I think the reason for this is scientists there have been saying they hope to find the one particle which is responsible for everything, the base or God particle. They have said they found the God particle in the past, but it seems there is a good chance there are more particles to be discovered. Continue to smash away boys.

It is amazing to me how many people think Donald Trump is just a boob and making mistakes every time he talks. NO ONE could make as many mistakes by accident as he makes. It has been apparent to me he wants to lose on purpose, of course this is just my opinion. I believe he never wanted to be president and was more surprised than anyone else when he got nominated. I can’t help but think he made a deal with the Clintons to guarantee her election when he beat the other Republican candidates. He is on record in a speech made years ago stating there was nothing as stupid as republicans, he was a democrat at the time. A few people in the know have said he has had long talks with Bill Clinton and I have to wonder if this was when he made a deal with him. We have to remember Hillary Clinton has a LOT of baggage and a conventional candidate probably could have beat her, but Trump is losing more ground every day due to his comments.

What happened to one million doses of Yellow Fever vaccine the UN shipped to Angola? The United Nations World Health Organization shipped six million doses of the vaccine to that country and no one can account for the lost million. This reminds me of all the money that went missing which we shipped to Iraq on pallets. It seems this either happens on purpose or the US and the UN among others have the worst security for guarding what they shipped to make sure it reaches its designated destination.

When we talk about ISIS we lead people to think we are winning some sort of war. We no longer talk about defeating ISIS in Syria, because that is a country where we wanted to depose its leader and failed when he became protected by the Russians. The truth about ISIS is they are spreading out into many other countries making it harder to defeat them. We started a bombing campaign in Libya, because they spread there and yet hardly anyone knows about this. They are still in Iraq and captured about 3,000 Iraqi villagers this week and killed some of them. The reports on the amounts of deaths differ, but one source states tens of civilians were executed and six burnt alive.

We are busily searching the universe for planets which are the most like earth. So far it is Kepler 452b. It rests in what scientists call the habitable zone of a G type star which is like our sun. The star it circles is said to be about as hot as our sun, but is also about 10% brighter and 20% larger. The planet itself is about 60% larger than our earth. It is believed this planet is rocky. Scientists think this planet has been in the habitable zone at least six billion years and because of this, life could have evolved. This planet is at least 1.5 billion years older than our earth. Since the planet is so far away we have no way of reaching it today or maybe never. If we did we would not only need sunglasses, but we would find it hard to walk since the gravity would be considerable more due to the larger mass of the planet.

It is being said US Intelligence has assigned over 1,000 undercover people to protect our athletes at the Olympics in Brazil. I find nothing wrong with this and in fact believe it is a very good idea. One cannot help but remember what happened to Israeli athletes at the Olympics in Munich in 1972 where 6 Israeli coaches, 5 Israeli athletes and 1 police officer were killed. We certainly don’t want to present an opportunity to ISIS for history to repeat itself with the US team.
