Terrible Government Secrets There are so many things we have not have not been told the truth about. Sometimes a story is made up for what happens and other times nothing is said at all. This has been going on with the government for many years but in the last few decades it has become a lot worse. Some people trace this trend back to the Second World War where it was necessary to keep secrets from the enemy and they claim things never loosened up after the war and as a matter of fact got worse. When Jimmy Carter became president, he faced something which no other president had to face and that was how to survive a nuclear attack. Other presidents worried about nuclear war but Carter was the first to make plans for the government and probably some others fat cats and corporate types to survive while the rest of us met our end. This has been kept secret as was many of his memos and such on the subject. We only know a little about this because of the release of some CIA documents. There have been stories about how the United States secretly did some body snatching. Supposedly they collected about 900 bodies. The next of kin were never told about how the U.S. government stole the bodies of their loved ones. A 900 page report came out which included this event. It is just a coincidence the report was 900 pages long and 900 bodies had been stolen. I have to talk about Operation Northwoods again because it is so heinous. Anyone who knows a little history knows about the Cuban Missile Crisis. The Soviet Union had put nuclear missiles in Cuba and President Kennedy wanted them out and did get rid of them. But there is more to it than just that. The Joint Chiefs of Staff decided it would be a good idea to dress people like Cubans and have them kill some of us in the United States and blow up some ships in Guantanamo Bay. A memo was issued to this effect by the Joint Chiefs suggesting to the president this is what we should do. Kennedy rejected the idea. He should have put the Joint Chiefs on trial for treason. The website complex.com claims the government allowed known criminals to buy guns in Arizona. Because of this they lost track of 1,700 guns. These were not ordinary hand guns but guns like the AK-47 assault rifle. Some of the guns surfaced during the murder of a border patrol officer. It is said the program lasted from 2009 to 2010. The idea behind it was supposedly to let the guns lead the authorities to drug kingpins in Mexico. It is no wonder the government wanted to keep this secret, not only was it a dumb and dangerous idea, it didn’t work. All it did was arm a lot of very dangerous people. There was a reporter who worked for the Albuquerque Tribune who was said to have broke a story on how the U.S. government starting in the early 1940s gave radioactive injections to and pill to over 800 pregnant woman and said they were vitamins and also gave 73 disabled children radioactive oatmeal to see how it would affect them. One private company and one University were part of this experiment. The Washington Post was said to have confirmed the fact the pregnant women were given the pills. At the time the doses were said to not be considered unsafe. That is not the problem, the problem is how could any government experiment on its population without approval of those in the tests. This is reprehensible. The tests were approved by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission. A very small settlement was made with the boys who ate the radioactive oatmeal. It is said there are three levels of classification in the United States Government. Some say there are more which are they themselves secret. The government admits to Confidential, Secret, Top Secret. If one has a Secret clearance he or she can also read Confidential documents and if that person has a Top Secret clearance they can also read Secret and Confidential documents. When the Freedom of Information Act was established the idea was to allow some documents to be declassified for public consumption from time to time and upon request. One of the problems is even when this happens they sometimes get so redacted there is nothing left but a piece of paper with everything or most everything scored out. This kills the spirit of the act. When we think of classified we thing there has to be something so important it has to be kept from us to protect it from getting to other countries who don’t like us but this is not always the case. When Wikileaks released some documents a few years ago some elected officials called for Julian Assange to be executed. He is the head of Wikileaks. One would think he must have released some really damaging memos that would hurt this country, but that was not it at all. He had released some memos which were embarrassing to politicians and this is why they called for his death. It is said by those who should know the United States has kept the fact secret we have the most powerful computer weapons and developed a secret cyber attack branch of government. There were hints of this when a virus was developed known as Stuxnet by us and released on the internet to attack Iran’s computer-controlled centrifuges. They say the growth of this department as been increasing at an incredible pace. The problem is it is also increasing in other countries. These departments can unleash things more deadly than nuclear weapons. For example, if our electric grid was shut down we would all probably starve or die of thirst in many areas. When World War II ended we wanted to get into space and beat the Soviets at it. We decided to launch Operation Paperclip. This allowed us to import as many Nazi rocket scientists as we could get our hands on. It is said these people for use of a better word used to wear Nazi pins and celebrate Hitler’s birthday. Many were members of the SS including Wernher von Braun who was the head of the program. His SS affilation was kept secret. He was responsible for many deaths in his slave run rocket factory. Many of those successful rocket launches were paid for in blood. One has to wonder what terrible things are going on now we don’t know about?
