Things You May Not Have Known
Let me start with Black Holes. What most scientists believe is Black Holes are caused by the explosion of stars, very large and powerful stars, that cause a supernova. In other words, they wouldn’t exist if there was not an incredible explosion. This theory seems to be widely accepted, but it doesn’t mean it is correct, only that we think it might be. First of all, there could be a combination of things causing a black hole. It could be an explosion but also in conjunction with something else we don’t know. Maybe for example the explosion has to be near a Worm Hole. A group of physicists have just said they think it is caused by something entirely different and might be created by defects in space time. If they are right this seems to open up all sorts of possibilities.
If a Black Hole has something to do with time and space not running correctly in an area, think of what this might mean. If we could master entry into a Black Hole, we might be able to travel either forward or backward in time. As far as defects in space, this could mean Black Holes are the home of previously unknown dimensions. There could be all sorts of abnormalities which we can’t even wrap our brains around.
When we look at an object, we see a solid, but what are we really seeing? It is an object with a lot of space inside it. If we could squeeze the atoms together things would be a lot smaller. Take the human body for example, it is said it is 99 percent empty space. I am talking about the space between atoms. I guess if we could get rid of the space without changing the functions of the human body a six foot tall man would be reduced down to 0.72 of an inch. One thing is for sure, it would reduce the food consumption greatly.
I am a person who likes to think about things and alternatives to what we have been told. One of the things I have a hard time accepting is history. You know what they say, history is written by the winners. Anyway, that saying didn’t appear for nowhere it is true going back to the beginning of time and when we are talking about ancient civilizations, it is hard to know what really happened because when kings wrote the history, they liked to make it look good for them. Some of the Egyptians wrote the stories of their battles and centuries later proof was found here and there making me doubt some of what was told.
If we look back in time, we can’t help but notice scientists had different opinions on things than they do today. If we think about this rationally, why couldn’t some of the things they changed their opinions on still be wrong? One recent change was where extraterrestrial life could live. The scientists were only looking at earth like planets, then it finally dawned on them, maybe the extraterrestrials could live on planets we couldn’t and maybe some couldn’t thrive on earth like planets. This is something I have said for years. Maybe they are still wrong in some way, maybe alien life can even exist in space without planets. Maybe it could exist in a gas cloud, or even in the void. How do we know for sure, we don’t.
When we think of war, we hardly ever think a human body can be disintegrated without a nuclear weapon, but unfortunately there are weapons which can do this and both sides have them, they are called thermobaric weapons. The explosion from them is enormous. It is a two stage weapon which when dropped blasts fuel droplets into the air which are then ignited, causing a partial vacuum and can completely disintegrate a human. It was reported on the news, Russia has used this weapon in Ukraine. One thing I can’t figure out is why Russia would not be bothered by killing people who were once part of their country. They probably have relatives on both sides of the border. When I say I can’t figure it out, I mean how can the Russian conscience allow this to happen? I know it is an attempted land grab.
The idea you need money to buy a Pepsi has been disproven. The proof you don’t was a deal made between Pepsi and Russia in 1989. Russia was hurting for money but wanted Pepsi for its citizens so they made a deal with Pepsi and made one of the craziest barter deals in history. The Pepsi company was traded about 20 war ships and in return Pepsi would send its soda to Russia. Pepsi is said to have received 17 submarines, a frigate, a cruiser and a destroyer. Did they use this fleet to attack Coke? Of course not. They sent the ships out to be scrapped. It has been said this gave Pepsi the 6th most powerful fleet in the world, but others deny this.
Do you have a cat and are bothered by allergies? It seems to be quite common among humans. Did you know there is something, while not as common, that affects cats? It is humans. Yes, you read that correctly, some cats are allergic to humans. Some say serves them right, but I am not that cruel.
Ever hear about the Irritator challenger. No, it was not an angry sports fan or contestant. It is a strange name given to a dinosaur which was just discovered. It had a huge mouth like a trap door which was hinged in such a way it could be opened very wide. The mouth was lined with many sharp teeth. The dinosaur was found in Brazil and could walk on two legs and was a meat eater. It belonged to the class Spinosaurid. One really unusual feature of the dinosaur’s mouth was the fact the lower jaw spread open on the sides also. Spinosaurids are among the biggest dinosaurs ever to walk the earth.
Sometimes we are victims of misinformation which seems to gain a life of its own. Let me give you a simple example. Almost everyone believes the fortune cookie is Chinese, and with good reason. It always seems to be enclosed in a food order from a Chinese restaurant, but it was invented not in China, but Japan. It is said this happened because when the Japanese were forced into internment camps during World War II, they lost their businesses and the restaurants closed. At that point the Chinese thought fortune cookies were a good idea and started to include them with the food orders.
