Looking Back On Interesting Interviews I Have Conducted
Sometimes I find some very interesting things I would like to refer to which appear in photographs but unfortunately, I can’t use them because they are copyrighted. Over the years I’ve obtained permission from some copyright holders to use a few photos of interesting things, but one has to be very careful before they use a photo. I learned this lesson the hard way when I use the photo of the Golden gate bridge which appeared as a public domain photo on a government website, but it turned out it had been classified public domain in error. I can tell you this was a simple little photo that was put up by mistake and that mistake cost me $750 for a license. That’s why you will notice I use hardly any photo’s now except if I am 100% sure they are okay to use. I certainly don’t take the word of anyone who says the photo is public domain and less I know this is 100% true. Sometimes I try and do a rough sketch of something, but not being an artist, it looks pretty terrible, but most people forgive me.
I thought in the beginning with the right software I would be able to draw almost anything, but when one has no talent in drawing even with the best software in the world, they are not going to succeed, and I am living proof of this. I have been running a website now for over twenty years and have tried to make it as interesting as I can by writing articles about subjects I am interested in and hoping others are interested in the same things. I know some may consider my taste in subjects a little strange, but I figured I didn’t need a big following and there must be some people who have the same interests as me and I found quite a few over the years. I remember when a television station from Great Britain called me and wanted to know the source of some of my articles, as if I would ever tell them.
I have met a lot of interesting people since I first started doing this. Some of them have become famous in the UFO community and I see them all the time on television. These are people I’ve interviewed in the past such as Nick Pope, Dennis Balthaser, Mark McCandless, Preston Dennett and many others. While these names may not seem familiar to a lot of people, everybody in the UFO community knows who they are. I was thinking the other day about some of the most interesting interviews I’ve done. I stopped doing interviews years ago for no reason I just got tired of doing them. I’ve toyed with the idea restarting them again but at my age they seem like too much work because a lot of preparation goes into them, even though it doesn’t seem that way when one is listening to the interview. I always try to ask intelligent questions and prepare ahead of time because I thought the worst thing a person could do was sit down with an interviewee and try and make questions up on the fly. If an answer led to the asking of a question that is a little different.
One of the most interesting people I interviewed was actually the famous magician the Amazing Randi. He us very old now so you may not have heard of him, but in his day everyone know his name. I recently reposted his interview and the highlight of it was how we got trapped in a safe trying to do an escape and almost died. Another very interesting interview was with Dr. Roger Lear who unfortunately is deceased. He made his life’s work finding people who had alien implants and extracting them and during the interview told me how these implants would try and get away from his scalpel and how they would put out radio signals so these people could be tracked.
John Hutchinson is a Canadian inventor who has the eye of the US government. He was working on an incredible project and demonstrated it. He somehow figured out how to tap into something called zero energy. This is being mentioned a lot today. He was able to draw energy from space and lift a bowling ball way up into the air along with some heavy wrenches and other objects. When I talked to him about this, he explained to me there was still a problem and that problem was this didn’t always work, it only worked sometimes and he was trying to figure out why. What I found fascinating was besides his experiments, was the fact he was contacted by a mysterious United States Colonel who I had noticed appeared at places where experiments were being conducted. It didn’t take me long to realize if this colonel was there, the United States was interested in the technology, perhaps for weapons.
I certainly don’t want to forget Laura Magdalena Eisenhower. Yes, as you may have guessed she is related to the former President Dwight Eisenhower and is his great granddaughter. She told me she was absolutely positive the stories about the president meeting with aliens and disappearing for twelve hours while he did it were true. These missing twelve hours have been spoken about many times in UFO shows on television.
I enjoyed speaking with Bruce Maccabee and interviewing him several times. He was an expert in photo examination and a UFO investigator who was very famous in his field. He had been the head of a large naval program. One of the most important things for UFO investigators is to know if a photo has been doctored or a video doctored and that is where Dr. Maccabee comes in. I remember a video which was taken in Mexico which everybody thought was legitimate. It was a video of a UFO flying over an apartment building. Dr. Maccabee studied the video in question for a few days and then pointed out that it couldn’t be real. He had noticed these tiny flags on the roof which were blowing in the wrong direction from the way the wind was flowing. I remember sending him one or two photos to get his opinion on and he was very helpful.
Mark McCandless was an illustrator and was called upon to make illustrations of military aircraft. He told me during an interview that he was at an air show one time and went into an empty hanger, which turned out to have no people in it, but did have a couple of UFOs. He looked at them for a second and then left, apparently he made it into an area he wasn’t supposed to be at.
I like dealing with people and you never know what’s going to come up in an interview. I’ve interviewed people who were experts on the challenger space shuttle accident, people who designed cars running on air for fuel and even physicists who were trying to send particles back in time. I can’t myself lucky having met such interesting people.
